Hey all, I realized while going over my application today that I forgot to add a class I took during winter break freshman year. It's just a 3 unit, non prerequisite GE course. I have a 3.4 non-science GPA and I got a (B+/3.33) in this class so this might lower my GPA ever so slightly. 😕

My GPA hasn't been verified yet, but I'm assuming AADSAS people will see the mistake and just add it for me? Will there be a red flag on my application as a result of this?

Anyone have experience with this? Much appreciated.

They definitely won't just add it for you. If anything, they will contact you about it and have you add it and resubmit. I'd give them a call if I were you and explain what happened and see if there is a best way to approach the situation.

i didn't include my ap credit and they added it in for me during verification.

This seems oddly similar to this thread... hm...

Lol, look at Sherlock Holmes over here. Thanks @HuskyUC but that's not me.

I just did a search for other people who've done this by accident and here's what I've figured out, restated for future reference/searches:
  • AADSAS is very thorough and will catch mistakes like this.
  • AADSAS will sometimes just edit this for you and email you a notification.
  • If there's a larger problem (too many errors or conflicting information) they'll email you and tell you to fix/resubmit your application.
  • If you need to resubmit, your application is not pushed back to that resubmission date. Your application mailing priority is still linked to your original submission date.

Yeah, I bet people are really trying to be sneaky about including a B+. They must really be worried. 😛
