HELP! Great GPA, LOW MCAT!!!!

So I just got my Sept. 12 scores back today, and the breakdown is as follows:

VR 7
PS 8
BS 10
Composite : 25M

My cGPA is 3.80, and sGPA is 3.6

I'm not applying until next year, but with such a low MCAT, do y'all think I even have a chance at any MD school? I'm not interested in DO though, and I don't see myself studying again for this test. I seriously feel like quitting now. 🙁

Your chances at an allo school probably depend on how forgiving your state schools are (if any), and how impressive your ECs are, as they could possibly have a bit of salvaging power. Not too many schools will give someone with a verbal of 7 a shot.

Like he said, it is highly dependent on other factors, but your shot is very slim with a 25. It's happened before, but not likely.

Retake and get at least a 28. Suck it up!!

You want to be a MD then work for it! If not, apply DO.
