I don't know how bad your tremor is, but for the most part, I think this whole steady hands buissiness is greatly overplayed, especially by the general public. Go down to the anatomy lab and do some dissecting. Can you place instruments exactly where you mean to place them? Go place some IVs. Does the needle go where you want it to? Keep in mind that there are ways to support your hand(s) to reduce tremor when performing delicate portions of a procedure. I have a bit of a resting resting tremor myself, and it has never affected my ability to dissect, place IVs, or help out in the OR. Also, worrying about your tremor is a surefire way to make it worse. Since you're posting your concerns here, I'd be willing to bet that part of your tremor comes from anxiety about having a tremor. Just trying to relax will probably help you out quite a bit.
