Help!! Has ANYONE chosen UCSF over UCLA???

Hey Guys!

I need help deciding!! ANY Advice would be appreciated....especially from students at UCLA or UCSF...Thanks

Go where you'd be happiest living. Go with your gut. Don't over analyze it.

I prefer UCSF, but I am biased towards San Fran (hometown). I think both are awesome institutions and you would do well at either, but for me the two free afternoons make a world of difference and Dean Bertolami is the coolest dean ever. UCSF seems a bit more reseach focused than UCLA, and the 2 afternoons off allow you to actually have time to do research if you want. I think both are awesome though.

But UCLA has the weather, undergrad campus, close to home, and they offerred me a scholarship....but Iloved SF...I may end up just flipping a coin...
Does anyone regret going to UCLA? Or wish they had gone to UCSF..or vice versa?

i chose ucsf over ucla. my decision was based on location. I like sf better than l.a. and it's closer to home. i also want to practice in norcal later on

And as for Sly, just do UCSF if you want to. I thought the only thing holding you back was the fact that you love LA so much? I would pick UCSF because of the ISO time and the strictly pass/no pass grades.

I chose UCLA over UCSF eventhough I am from the Bay Area. I don't regret it. So far I love everything about UCLA. 😍 Our professors are awesome and know so much. For example, our gross anatomy books are written by Dr. Clemente (UCLA proferssor). Our oral radiology book is written by Dr White (UCLA professor). etc Also, there are so many research opportunities. My classmates are awesome too. Plus, UCLA is so close to everything. I went to Universal Studios for the new year and it was awesome. I loved it. One thing that I especially like about UCLA is: professors/advisors care so much about students and always want to help. 😍 UCLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA 😍

oh come on SF all the way. this is not even a question unless you have family in los angeles or love los angeles for some reason. If you are female go to SF (otherwise come to L.A. we got lots of plastic chicks).
