help!!How does ADA number the teeth

Help please!

How does the ADA number the teeth? for example, What is tooth #18, #21 etc.

which one is number 1? maxilary incisor or some molor?

can't find the answer from Kaplan and the DECKs

ADA uses universal system of numbering the teeth. It starts from upper right posterior. For example the wisdom tooth on upper right posterior segment is tooth #1. Likewise continue counting till upper left posterior wisdom tooth (# 16). Continue counting to lower left arch till lower right arch.That means tooth # 32 is lower right wisdom tooth.#8& # 9are upper central incisors.

they r counted in same way. but we have to count in albhabets.from A to T.5 in each quadrant.
