Hi guys,
I am in deep S.... I am international student and I went to college in Canada. I started to fill my application really, really, really late......please do not hurt me for that and now I need to have my transcripts evaluated by ECE (www.ece.com) and they say that it will take 2-3 weeks. Is it worth for me to spend the $75 they ask me to have my transcripts evaluated in 5 days? I really want to do that because I will have to wait on my evaluation in order to send my application......also do you have any idea of how long it will take aacomas to verify my file??

I dunno why you have to have transcripts evaluated since AACOMAS will have to revarify them again anyway but I say get them done and in ASAP. You will spend far more than $75 dollars with primary, secondary, and traveling fees. As with this whole process the sooner the better.

I would not sweat it or pay the extra money. I applied much later than this last year and recieved multiple acceptances. You should get your stuff in ASAP though, the later you wait the tougher it gets. Also check on deadlines, I think some schools may have a nov. deadline(maybe dec.?). I remember when I applied I had missed the deadline for many schools I would have liked to have applied to. I think it took a couple of weeks maybe a month to verify once all my stuff was in, though some people I know had their files done quicker. I would suggest that while you are waiting for your file to be verified that you start on secondaries(you will get secondaries from all schools most likely). Filling these out can be really time consuming, and if you can have them done and ready to go now, you will be in pretty good shape. You can get the forms from many of the school's websites.
