" Hate Slutting" - (verb) when a bitter ORM SDN'er posts's a hateful comment after a URM SDN'er makes a serious thread about the "URM advantage" or just about URM's and medical school in general. This action does nothing for the thread and does not progress the conversation.

This is a growing trend on SDN and if it's not corrected (discouraged) could chase away potential new members....

It, like MD v DO threads, the importance of "prestige" of undergrad in getting into med school threads, the importance of going to a "top" med school threads, threads about people gaming the system by picking easier majors, and your wonderful PSAs, is just one of the many wonderful attributes of the pre-allo forum. Its been going on since SDN's birth into teh cruel, harsh interwebz, and is likely not to change.
