hi everyone, im studying in singapore and am taking the A levels next year. I go to junior college, its like a two year pre uni course. Can someone please help me explain all the terms??? pre req?? GRE??? stats??? undergrad?? I know i can just google them but it will be easier and clearer if someone would explain it to me here.

Also, anyone who was from junior college/ took the A levels able to give me some guidance on applying to cornell??? Anyone who's gone through the same education as me I suppose? Thanks a lot!!!

I know you're new and coming from Singapore, English may or may not be your first language, so I'll cut you some slack, but for future reference, this kind of attitude really isn't tolerated here. We are a very supportive community (hence why so many veterinarians still hang out in the pre-vet section) but we generally feel that someone applying to a professional program should have the know-how and the motivation to do some of the leg work themselves.
Pre-requisites - Courses that a required to get into vet school. Each school is different. VMSAR or the school's own website are a good place to start.
GRE - Graduate Records Exam. Most vet schools require this.
Undergrad - Undergraduate studies, usually ties into your pre-reqs. Most people have a Bachelor's degree before applying to vet school (or almost have one).

As to applying with A-levels, Cornell's site would be a good place to start. http://www.vet.cornell.edu/admissions/ If there's no answer there, I'd contact them directly.

It is likely that as an international student you will still need to take university level courses that match their pre-requisites. Although some Junior college level courses may be adequate, I doubt they all will.
