HELP! LOR question

Hi everyone,
I am applying to med schools this year and I need advice on how to get some LORs. I recently finished grad school and am back at home in FL, so I'm not near my undergrad or graduate colleges. I want to ask 2 undergrad profs and 2 grad profs, but how should I do it if I'm not particularly within a close distance to the schools? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks! 😀

I'm ~30 minutes from my undergrad school, and first I tried stopping by their offices. If they weren't in, I just emailed them and politely asked if they would be willing and comfortable writing a LoR.

Email is probably good enough, unless you know they'd prefer to be contacted by telephone.
