Anyways I am applying to both MD AND DO AND TEXAS schools and want to know
what my chances are...

Had a Medical Committee Packet + 2-3 strong LOR's
Very strong Personal Statement

I would retake the MCAT but I can't for this cycle. I have applied to MD, DO, and Texas schools... do you think I have a chance?

I do not mean to be harsh, but I don't want to lie to you.

Your MD chances are almost zero.

Your DO chances are not high.

But fret not, you can salvage this easily. Retake the MCAT. Study well, go over to the MCAT forum and look up SN2EDs schedule. Stick to it. Get at least a 25 and you'll definitely get into medical school (DO).

no more input from anyone else??

I agree, your MD chances are zero and your DO chances are poor. If I were you, I'd reatke the MCAT and/or apply to some of the newer, not-so-hot DO schools

Your EC's and gpa are fine, but you gotta work on that MCAT score and bring it up a few points. I would def retake

Concur strongly. You might get an interview with us, but probably would be wait listed.

I am a TX resident with 3.7 GPA and 29 MCAT ( 10,9,10). What is your opinion on roll with it or retake for texas MD schools?
