Help! Low score!

Hi,
I wrote my part 1 and got 82 on December 3rd. Am i eligible to write the exam again in 2010? I tried calling ADA but it is closed till Monday. I can't wait till then , I am going crazy!
Should I write it again? I have experience as a dental assistant , taken CE classes , and observed in around 8 dental clinics. i have a good score in TOEFL. Which universities do u think i would stand a chance in? Please help!

Its up to you if you want to retake it..Please make sure that you get the eligibilty number before 31st Dec.You can take a date after the 90 days window period. If you plan to go ahead and apply it all depends on the pool of applicants along with whom you apply .But i think you still have a chance to improve if you manage to get the eligibilty no before 31st Dec.

I am sorry to hear that,
but I don't think u'd be able to retake,
anyway 82 will be a better score next year than this year, coz scores will go down a little, because of the fact that people with low scores won't be able to take it and score higher. ( about 70% of test takers retake ) so keep improving ur application by taking part2 and doing some clinical sork as a DA or obervership.

There's not a chance for you with that score, I got 89 and I'm retaking it your experience as a dental assistant show incompetence compare to work as a dentist or been faculty member, also if you been in 8 clinics it shows inestability to commitment. My advice to you while you get a better score enroll in a fellowship program a one or 2 years like implants, biomaterials, etc. That is going to put you in front of everybody else TOEFL does not count as the main part to get admitted; your scores specially boards that will help you.

i wana work as dental assistant too,,do i have to fill any application and send it to the ada !!!! because in futute when i apply for universities they r gona look if i have experince !!! so how this thing works pls reply...
