I am applying right now and have a 27Q MCAT with at 3.45 GPA from a top liberal arts school. I have been out of school for 2 years now and have been doing cancer research. I also have extensive volunteer and clinical experiences. My list of schools is currently at 19 and I would like to add another "reach"/dream school that sometimes looks beyond the numbers. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm not sure what others think based on the rankings, but I would recommend Wake Forest. Yeah, it's my undergrad, but they have a good rep. for looking beyond the numbers and for turning out excellent clinicians who go to good residencies. And your cancer experience is right up their alley (look at the mice at www1.wfubmc.edu/cancer). Good luck, whatever you choose - maybe if you post the schools you're already thinking about we could help more?
