help me find the inverse of this problem (more calculus)

f(x)=-square root (3-x)

my answer was f(x)=x^2+3 but the answer key says 3-x^2...help me

Try using a protractor to solve the answer. It might help. Consider this tip on the house.

He does have a bit of a point hilikus, but if you do need help, I wouldn't hesitate to ask. You were able to figure it out on your own though, which means you probably didn't need to post.

An easy way to do it:

1- Replace f(x) with y.
2- Switch the y with x and x with y.
3- Solve for the new y.
4- Switch the range and domain.

I am a math major and that's how I teach my students. They love this method.
