Hello people. I am in india and desperately want to go to medical school in the states.. Wut can i do? I am takin the Mcats soon. Can i get in ? Wut else do i need other then GPA and Mcat? I also do cancer research and have partaken in surgeries.

I actually have a friend in my med school class who hails from India and was in your shoes not too long ago.

He told me the biggest thing you can do to improve your chances if you're applying from abroad is to apply for a green card and do some research in the United States. Most MD programs spit on foreign applicants. They won't consider you if you don't have the experience/citizenship.

Sorry if this seems harsh. But I want to give you a realistic perspective.
