CN's new Pug puppy!

This is related to psychiatry since a puppy's name is critical to the development of good behavior which in turn satisfies a growing childs need to care and tend to animals!

Ok.. GO!

picture is in the avatar, and check the profile, new updated pic of CN!

No we don't breed them, sorry!

I wanted to name him Noble, but my wife didn't like that so we settled on Tigger, from Whinnie the Pooh, since it matches his personality.

Well why didn't you specify you wanted an asian name?

How about Dru-li? Pee-Ing? Chao-ee-ting?

If Master Simon is wizzing in his cage, then the cage is too big for him...try making it smaller using a piece of cardboard to shorten the lenght. You can move it back progressively closer to the end of his cage as he grows. Also, don't take away his crate too early after he's housebroken; it's a security blanket for doggies and sometimes they regress to bad bowel habits if it's taken down too soon. 🙄

Thanks LPP!!!

Keep the crate around as long as you want. Its a great refuge from the kids! Also it can be a great discipline tool. We send our dog to her kennel a lot. She likes it when she wants it and dislikes it when she's naughty. Plus I don't know how pugs are but our lab has separation anxiety and will destroy the house when we are gone too long and she is not in her kennel (crate). We found this out the hard way, but it is a common occurance with some dogs, I guess they can't handle the big empty house 😱

They are going to be peeing very frequently at this age. They can't hold their bladders, poor things. Anyway are you trying to train Simon to be an inside-home dog? You might want to buy wee-wee pads. They are like the inside of a diaper only a pad 2'x2' you put on the floor. Other wise keep taking him out and when he goes outside tell him hes a goodboy and give him a little treat. WHen he goes in his cage, tell him NO, but don't shout at him.

Maybe he's wizzing in his cage because his name is Simon... and he likes to do drawings.

Oh i can't shout at him, he's sensitive even when I shout at the others. Hes a good boy, except he pooped in the house hes a a little sneak, pretending to play then pooping behind my back.

Must be the rebellion stage

Right, when he does something bad, let him know it by saying NO, not shouting, but be firm.

That show was weird....

Simon was NOT a weird show, well kinda, with that stick figure boy going around drawing in his black world - how odd is that?

My parents own a male and female pug. The female had two litters of pups. She was the worst dog mom ever!! They had to cut the sack which the pups pop out in by HAND (mom is supposed to eat the sack), CPR on several of them, hold her down so she would feed them (multiple X's daily, of course), etc... Maybe she was just a bad mom, I don't know, maybe it's the breed.. Just a heads up though. Not a fun experience for any of us who were involved.

I'm not breeding Simon, but thanks.

Thanks for your support about Sam - he is truly missed, I'm going to get another big dog to substitute him, since there really is no replacement 🙁
