Hi I am just a stupid azn kid who came to the States a few years ago. As English is not my fist language I did relatively poor on my SAT verbal and high school avg.
My point is now I am a high school senior and going to graduate in this June. I really have make up my mind to work my butt off in order to go to med school and become a doctor.

Problem is the only college I got acceptance from, are Cuny (Hunter college, college of Staten Island, and Brooklyn college, and Queens College.), and st. John's university. My plan is to pull up my sci GPA first year and then transfer to Suny Binghamton University, kill myself though MCAT and then take on impossible loaned for med school.

my question is which college do you think is my best choice.

Thanks a whole lot. .____.

They're all about the same. Hunter may be a little better known. Choose the location you like best. Good luck.

Hey! Hunter is nothing to sneeze at.

I did my postbacc there and thought it was pretty excellent. Sure there are all sorts of everybody there, but I also saw people go on to excellent medical or other graduate schools. Sometimes, it's really true that we need to "grow where we have been planted." In other words, we can make the best of whatever situation we find ourselves in.

👍

But, these are all good schools, and I wouldn't worry about which is the better one. You need to feel right about it yourself. St John's is private, and more $$?

Btw, vincikai, I just noticed you sig line. Quit "hating your life as an immigrant". It's what you are. Make a positive feature of it. 😉
