HI Friends,I am sanket from Aurangabad,Maharshtra,completed my final yr exam last month.I want some details abt preparation regarding National Board part 1.is the anyone who can tell me 1) Is Kaplan classes are Must for part 1? 2)what study material is required for this exam? and whr i can get this study material?4)What is Dental Desk?5)How many days it usually take to prepare the Part 1? I'll b very thankful if anyone can help me out.

the ADA site about the national boards exam mentions everything about the exam procedure in international dentist cateogary
about prep.if ur basics are good,kaplan is not must-decks,previous papers are usually sufficient

1. You shoudnt take kaplan because its a waste of money
2. Dental Desk is just a place where you put all your study material when you are studying for the national boards in a pile. The desk or table where you study is then called a "Dental Desk"
3. It will usually take you about six days with about three hours per day to prepare for the dental boards to have enough time to properly prepare for the exam
