Could you explain what you mean by distinct? As a name, I like Alessandri more.
However, "Dr. Baginski" is more distinct

I like Alessandri moreThis is totally unrelated to anything posted on this thread, but I was curious if you guys think I should keep my mother or father's lastname after their divorse.
Do you like the sounding of Anna Alessandri, DDS, or Anna Baginski, DDS more?

I just think it's easier to remember for patients. But I think the name "Anna Alessandri" sounds much better.
Thank you everyone for input. It is a difficult time in my life and a hard decision to make.
I like Dr. Anna Alinski.
She sounds honest and forthright to me.

I vote Alessinski 😀
haha now you are trollingI like Dr. Anna Alinski.

Another facet of this that you should probably think about is that you might end up introducing yourself as Dr ---! Are you the chill and approachable Dr Anna? Are you the icy but trustworthy Dr Baginski? Could you be the glamorous and knowledgeable Dr Alessandri? These are all questions you should be asking yourself before it's too late.
Say that in Daenerys' voice.Alessandri. The alliteration is a nice touch
I think Alessandri is prettier, but I think Baginski is easier for the average person to pronounce and remember. This is totally unrelated to anything posted on this thread, but I was curious if you guys think I should keep my mother or father's lastname after their divorse.

Say that in Daenerys' voice.
I vote Baginski because Alessandri reminds me of Melisandre. I've been waiting for Daenerys to die the whole show. The season 7 finale has me very worried it'll never happen. I'd give the throne to anyone over Daenerys.
On a more serious note, I feel like alliteration is at least slightly controversial with names. The other issue is that saying Anna Alessandri is similar to if you tried to say "I'll have a apple" instead of "an apple."
If I were to change my name following a divorce, it would be due to very strong/symbolic reasoning...which means I probably wouldn't care how it sounds in its new form. Of course, everyone has their reasons.
I like Dr. Anna Alinski.

I actually like Anna Alinski (even though it has the a-a). It almost sounds like a stage name.
