i wonder what exactly cause tenderness?when we use the flat of our hands and fingers give the region of interest some pressure, what exactly is stimulated by that pressure?the pathway, from receptors(which receptor, what can stimulate that receptor and where that receptor is in the organ) and the nerve that continue the pathway,to the end destination...i tried to find the answer on the internet and it's not very clearly to me...if you have the answers please tell me,or if you have the sources that can give me the answers, please share.
English is not my mother toungue so sorry if there's any wrong.Hope you understand what i want to ask.

There are different types of nerves.

Here is an example in the skin.

Ultimately whatever force causes the nerve to become depolarized is "the exact cause." Different forces depolarize different nerve types.

And what does this have to do with EM?
