Im sitting on 2 WL from last cycle and hoping for the best but planning for the worst. I have a LOT of schools on my list and Im trying to narrow it down with a good mix of schools. Im more drawn to urban areas because I want to continue my work with HIV advocacy (and cities tend to be safer for LGBT people which is important to me and my partner).

MCAT: 505 (128/123/128/126)-->511 (130/126/128/127)

-Distinguished student award, some cross country scholarship from HS, Merit scholarship all 4 years
Other ECs:
-USCSA affiliated snowboard team all 4 years of college (intercollegiate sports but no coach or anything. We just competed but no real practices like other sports). Snowboarding for 10+ years
-Photography (MME) for 10+ years. Mostly just run an online blog of my pics and shown at school events. Submitting to small galleries around the city with my current project.
-Bodybuilding, skateboarding, yoga, modeling, social media influencer
LORs:
- 5 VERY strong letters from PI, Lab Coordinator, and chem professor, mentor (physician), english professor
-1 letter from bio professor (not sure how strong it is. I know him well but hes always short with emails so who knows.)
I have a pretty good reinvention story that shows why there was a spike in my GPA after sophomore year and goes along with be starting my volunteering with the LGBT+ community (mentoring, youth center, HIV testing, student rep of the AIDS clinical trials group). Combined that with my rural roots to talk about decreasing health disparities and provide underserved areas with resources. All that stuff plus more.
