Hello everyone,

I have been having trouble with these types of problems with similar shades that make it difficult to know which square is being referenced. Can anyone help explain to me how they approach these types of problems?

I uploaded 3 examples that I encountered in the DAT BC generator.

The only tip I know of is the approach to these:

You have to imagine folding the image "Inwards" towards the screen . But dont fold the whole problem first in your head as that will take too long. you have to look at each answer choice and go through the process of elimination to find your answer quickly, . For example, that if you where to fold the image inwards and get one of the choices , that choice "A" would be wrong because , one side is a different color, or one color would be on the opposite side etc.

I attempted to do that but I really struggled when the square that I had to fold was on the other side of the target square. Some choices are flipped which throws me off even more.
