My school uses 5 credits/year system, so a full-year course will be considered as 1.0 credit course regardless of a lab section attached.
(ex. 3-hours english = 3hr. bio + 3 hr. lab/ week = 1.0 credit if it spans a year, or 0.5 credit if it's a semester course)
I looked through several threads to find the standardized way of conversion. The problem is that one thread says a semester course + lab takes 4.0 credit hours and the other says 4.5 hours. They got me so confused ....
1. How does the standardized credit hours conversion that AADSAS uses works for both semester course and a-year course?
2. Additional Q : If I repeated one course, let's say a full-year course, what should I record for "the number of credits ATTEMPTED" ? 8 credits, or 16 credits???
This also got me confused because I know that I need to add these two same courses individually but if I select "16 credits" for both sections it will become 32 credits in total which will double the actual credit load (16 credit hours).
Thank you all in advance 😍 All suggestions will be very appreciative!!!
