HELP: Question on UPENN supplemental Application

I got a question regarding the UPENN supplemental Application. I am about to express mail mine (I know I know its VERY late) but I thought I would give it a try. I have called them and they have assured me at least they will review my application and if I am competitive I would be considered (I hope they are telling to truth 🙂 ).

SO regarding the first question

1. Please list any additional predental experience not included in your AADSAS application. This experience can include but is not limited to obser-
vation in a private practice, dental clinic, or hospital setting; dental assisting; dental laboratory work; dental research, etc. Please include time
allotted to each activity, dates of attendance, location, and description of your experience. If you do not have any predental experience, please
indicate what you plan to do in order to explore dentistry as a career prior to matriculation.

What if I stated all my dental experience in my AADSAS application. Am I suppose to write about what "I plan to do in order to explore dentistry as acareer prior to matriculation"? But it states "If you do not have any predental experience, please
indicate what you plan to do in order to explore dentistry as a career prior to matriculation." It says "If you dont have ANY predental experience" but I DO have predental experience in my AADSAS application. Or do they mean "IF you don't have any additional predental experience then what is stated in your AADSAS application please indicate what you plan to do in order to explore dentistry as a career prior to matriculation."

Sorry I am just so confused. I want to get this all figured out before I mail it today. Thanks so much in advance. And wish this late applicant some luck (I think I will REALLY need it) 🙂.

Well, I actually did have a few very minor things to add, but if I were you I would simply just indicate that all your predental experience is included in your AADSAS app. I seem to remember a thread including this from a few months ago if you wanted to do a search. But as for the second part, I actually did include what I planned to do before matriculation even though I had my predental stuff on AADSAS. I just quickly said that I planned on doing more shadowing, volunteering, and research in the next year. Hope this helps!

Thanks dubber .. I was able to find some stuff in the past threads as well ... they don't really answer the question but i guess to be on the safe side then I will just put stuff in my AADSAS and stuff I plan on doing in the future
