Hello It me again Durelle I'm in Jr college I wanted to know... I feel that it?s imposable to do this but I'll ask anyway ... After getting my AS can I apply for the ba/md programs???? 😕

The short answer is NO WAY. My circumstances are different from yours, but I've called both Allo and Osteo schools that offer BS/MD programs, and almost exclusively they are off -limits to transfer students. I was also told at every school I talked to that the BS/MD programs are usually the single most competitive tracks at their respective universities.

While it doesn't really make sense to trust a 17-year-old's decree that they want to be doctors, the joint programs are almost all reserved for exceptional high schoolers.

Be it an accelerated 7 year deal or a guaranteed-into-our-medschool 8 year program, the curriculum is fairly rigid (maybe excpet Brown's PLME) and they won't take a transfer because of that.

Maybe you're the exception...good luck in your pursuit.
