I am an FMG and done with my graduation. From some recent posts on this forum I have read that Kaplan Anatomy is not enough. I have done HY Embryology, HY Neuroanatomy and rest of Gross Anatomy from Kaplan (except the neuro section), FA, with some help from Netter Atlas. I am also planning to do UWorld and Kaplan Q Banks. Do you think its enough or should I do more? I have the HY Gross Anatomy book, but I feel lost when I open it. Please also help on what I should be doing for anatomy a few weeks before exam.

I started reading HY Anatomy (the latest edition which is about 300+ pages I believe) and I too felt lost initially. You really do have to work with it because oftentimes there aren't images or illustrations to simplify things for you. That being said, I thought I'd start watching Kaplan Anatomy videos, then go back and review the corresponding section in HY Anatomy, and annotate any missing information into the book. Then I did questions and it is true that the Kaplan qbank will test you on more things than you probably covered in your Anatomy section but reading the answers and creating a summary sheet of all the concepts you got wrong really helps. That's what I've been doing. It's not a foolproof method but it will help narrow in on the absolute must-know anatomy. FA Anatomy didn't seem enough to answer all the question in the Kaplan qbank atleast which is why I felt I needed that additional supplement with HY Anatomy. HY Anatomy is a lot of info though so you do have to put aside time to work with it. Maybe supplement with Netter's for illustrations and I think you should be set for the Anatomy portion anyway.
