Hi everyone! So I was in the middle of reviewing AAMC 9 and took a break while leaving the window open. I came back and continued to review where I left off, however when I clicked next, I got a pop-up saying:

"A communications error has occurred. This typically occurs due to a brief interruption in local Internet service. This error requires you to restart your test. When you click OK, your test will restart to the last question you have seen and no data or time will be lost."

I click OK, and I need to log back in which I do. I open up test #9 score report and again get the same pop-up for communications error. I click OK, the page refreshes, the pop-up comes up again, and I repeatedly click OK but the pop-up keeps coming up and I cannot review my test. I've tried starting a new exam, reviewing a different exam, and all keep giving me the same pop-up so I essentially can't do anything on my account anymore.

Failed troubleshooting steps:
  • Tried on chrome, IE, firefox
  • Tried after restarting computer
  • Tried on different computer
  • Tried making different account on e-mcat and AAMC
  • Tried resetting router
  • Had a friend log-in to my account from her computer

Nothing works 🙁 e-mcat people are closed for labor day and I need this fixed asap since my exam is in a week, and this is the last holiday before my exam (I'm non-trad and work full-time Mon-Fri)

I really appreciate any insight anyone has, thank you!!!

Maybe e-mcat is just having some technical difficulty.

Haha true true... though I'd expect more people to be posting about it 😛 Is anyone else having this problem right now?

Nope, I've emailed them but they probably won't get to it until tomorrow.

Hahah now I wish I hadn't spent so much time trying to fix this, I've purchased 3 diff exams and made 3 diff accounts! 😳

Oops thanks haha 😛 I searched using google and only 1 old thread showed up which got fixed using a diff browser
