Hi. I've studying for DAT using KAPLAN and Barrons.
man.. Barrons totally sucks! it's full of errors and over-simplified review and all that wrong questions. After finishing up one of their practice exam (which is why I bought this book since I'm the type of guy who thinks the more practice questions the better and Kaplan only has two) and finding out some of the questions I got wrong were apparently NOT WRONG.
I think Kaplan is okay but I definitely need more exams to practice.
I have scored QR26 RC19 SC17 PAT21 on Barrons and Kaplan PAT23.
English is my second language so I'm struggling on RC and for science, I skipped bunch of questions since I haven't really started reviewing for science just yet. I think PAT is alright but keyhole part on Barrons is a little vague for me. I heard some people saying actual QR is really hard so I wonder what's actual questions like. Overall, I know actual DAT is nothing compare to Barrons practice so I really gotta work on this!
so back to my main Question, I've been reading many of threads and decided to buy another study material.
I registered for DAT on July 15th so I have only about three weeks left. So I was thinking I will buy something that has practice exams with detailed explanations. And I finally narrowed it down to either Topscore or Ace the DAT. Both are about 50bucks and got quite a lot of questions with explanations so I'd like to know which one you would recommend.
Would you prefer Topscore? or Ace the DAT? Please tell me your thoughts! Thanks a bunch!
