HELP!!!! what is the deadline for USMLE?

Hey guys,

I'm in year two and I'm planning on taking Part 1 of the USMLE in June. However, I don't know when the application is due. I Went to the website and wasted 20 minutes trying to find it. How long before a testing date, does one have to send in the application?

The problem isn't a specific deadline set by the NBME (they only require that you apply at least 6 weeks before your exam date), it's finding a spot in a testing center in June when all the other M2s are taking the exam. You can apply now (most of my class has), and you'll get your scheduling permit from the NBME in about 3 weeks. Then you can call up the Sylvan testing center where you want to take the exam and see if the date you want is still open. It's ridiculously expensive (I think it was $435), but we have no choice 🙁
