Hi everyone! I need some serious help and guidance with what to do:
So I’m currently a senior at Rutgers. I am taking orgo 1 right now and have about 10 classes left to graduate in the spring (I’ll take a winter and summer courses too). My gpa is really low because I messed up tremendously my sophomore year but I’m on my way bringing it back up. I haven’t started studying for the dat yet since I am just now taking orgo 1.
IF I were to graduate on time, in the spring, when should I study for the dat and when should I take it?? Chances are I probably won’t get in that cycle because of my gpa so I have to get my masters. I’m choosing to take the dat instead of the gre for masters programs. Also when should I apply?
I was thinking to study this winter break and take it in the spring or summer but I would need orgo 2 to study for it Also, if I don’t graduate in the spring it could be in the summer or fall.
I’m all over the place and need to figure out this stuff pretty soon so please help me out. Anyone’s opinions would be so appreciated. I just really need someone to give me a timeline on when to do what
Also, can people please tell me where to apply for a masters and which would "accept" low gpa applicants? My gpa is a 2.4 right now but i'm bringing it back up lol
