Hi,

I am looking for advice on school decisions. I keep going back and forth on what to do here is my situation:

I am currently obtaining my masters and have been accepted into two schools for this coming year. I like both, however my top choice (well call is school A) I have to pass anatomy this next semester as a pre requisite-- the other school (school B) I have all the pre requisites complete. I have put down my deposit down for my favorite school (A) and debating on if I should put my deposit down at school B as a back up plan or not (in case something wild happens and I don't pass anatomy or something of that nature) As it is a non-refundable 1,000$ it is something that I could swing however it would be a very tight swing. Is there anyone that has been through the process or similar situation and can give some guidance on to put the money down or not?

Thank you for your help

If you not sure whether you going to pass anatomy, how are you planning to deal with oral anatomy in dental school? Knowing anatomy will be very helpful, especially if you are not so strong in the sciences.
I guess I shouldn't say i'm not confident I won't pass. i'm just one of the 'what if' people... like what if something goes horribly wrong or a family emergency happens or something of that nature more so than my ability to do well with the material if that makes sense.

If emergencies occur, usually professor will let you take the tests after everyone else taken and eventually help pass the course. You will need at least C to satisfy pre-requisites. You will never know what is going to happen, thus be confident that you will do everything to pass the course.

If someone told me they'd give me $1,000 if I passed anatomy you better believe I would study hard. If you like school A more then pass the class and don't waste your $1,000.

“What if” you apply the same scenario while taking anatomy in ds?

What if there is a zombie apocalypse and you never go to any dental school? I would count on doing well in your anatomy class no matter what school you attend. Your job as a student is to do well. That goes for dental school too.
