I was initially happy with my scores but not so much after seeing the crazy stats here..

PAT: 18 🙁
AA: 24
TS: 24
QR: 20
RC: 22
BIO: 23
GC: 24
OC: 29

My science gpa is 3.6. Do you think the PAT score will destroy my chances at some of the top schools?
I have 300+ hours of research, 100 hours of volunteering and almost 100 hours of shadowing

Thank you!!

Lol dude. Come on.

Please tell me you're just kidding about being worried :eyebrow: lmao

Case Western
UCLA
USC (?)

What do you guys think? Thank you for all your help!

you are a permanent resident which means you are not considered international. Your stats look very good.

You'll be fine at a majority of these schools. UCLA and UNC can be considered reaches.

Since you are permanent resident, you should be instate at wherever you are now...

Not instate anywhere, never lived in the US until college

I got the same OC (29)/PAT (19) score as you. Our crazy stats destroyed our chances 🙁

With the brutally needed sarcasm aside, I was worried at first but got over it. And you should, too. You're above average.

I had essentially the same stats when I applied two years ago (similar GPA, 24 DAT, higher PAT but lower GC and QR...) and applied to 14 schools like you, some of which were the same as the ones you are applying to. I got 10 interviews, turned 3 of them down and got accepted to all 7 schools I interviewed at, including my top 3... trust me, you'll be fine.🙂 haha.
