hello guys. i plan on taking the DAT in the summer. the director of addmission for my schools dental school talked to us about admission. he gave us a packet that says what we need to take the DAT and whats the best thing to study from. do you think i should buy the stuff he said to buy or go in a different direction?

thanks for anyhelp guys!!

Well, you should definitely check out the DAT discussion forum. There are TONS of posts on there about what materials to study from. Please do some research before asking a question that has already been asked a million times on here.

And we can't say anything about what you should do when we have absolutely no idea what the director recommended. If he suggested studying by watching PBS Kids and interacting with animals at the zoo, of course we'd say hell no and tell you to use something else =).

Take it easy, they're new 🙂.

I would suggest checking out this thread titled "La Datélisse" (I wish smurf would change the name and get rid of the accented "é", it makes searching for the thread a pain). But it's a compilation of various people's experiences with the DAT, all of whom did very well. You'll see some materials reoccurring in almost every breakdown - clearly those are the ones to look into. Good luck!
