Hello! I know it's a bit early to be thinking about this since I'm just starting college actually, but I really am considering this as my career and would like some advice or feedback if it isn't too much trouble.
I am a male, and in the past with ex's or girls telling me their problems I always loved to listen no matter it be, boy trouble, or trouble with life, It made me feel special that they chose me to tell about their problems and I always tried to help the best I could to make them feel better.
And in high school i'd have a few ex-girlfriends that explained to me how it works when they are on their monthly cycle and i'd actually.. be very intrigued by it instead of put off like most other guys that talked about how that sort of thing was gross etc.
Then a month or so ago, I thought about this as a career, I did some research and was already scared about how expensive it is for insurance, even though the salary is quite high in the field, and even more scared about how I think some states including mine are 3 lawsuits then you lose your license or something similiar, that's terrible I don't know what someone would do if that happened.
And also how ob/gyns are so busy! I'd like to have at least a day or two off a week to do hobbys. But anyways, I really want to believe this would be a good career for me even though it's so early on. Can anyone give me advice, or tell me about what it means to them to be in this field? Thank you!
