Okay, so i have decided NOT to apply through the PTCAS system, and I have narrowed the field down to 8 schools. If anyone has been accepted to any of these programs, I would LOVE to discuss your thoughts and feelings about your decision, and what you feel makes a strong candidate!

The schools I have chosen to apply to in no particular order are:

George Fox
University of St Augustine
Northern Illinois University
Langston University
D'Youville College
U. of S. Carolina
TSU - San Marcos
UNT- Fort Worth

My application will look like:

Overall GPA: 3.579
Last 60 GPA: 3.58
Pre Req GPA: 3.44
GRE: 305

About 100 PT Observation hours at two diff out patient settings…

Just super anxious / nervous! Love to hear everyones thoughts!!!

You should be able to get into niu. PM me if you have questions their program is interesting. ..

If you are looking for programs outside of PTCAS, you should try MUSC in Charleston, SC. Your stats suggest you would be a competitive candidate. Also, U. of S. Carolina has a very small class size and can make it rather difficult to get into despite competitive stats.

I would suggest getting more observation hours in 2 different settings such as acute care and pediatrics, or neurological. That may make your application more appealing.
