Help with dress shirts and garment bags

Does a dress shirt survive travelling without becoming wrinkled? If you have a shirt in a garment back and you fold it so that it can go in the overhead compartment of a bus or train, does it come out with creases?

Thanks roo! Incidently, I just booked a hotel room that provides an iron as an amentity, so if all else fails, I won't be wrinkled 😀

If you fly, just ask the attendant if there is a place where you can hang your suit. I flew on AA when I went to Temple and on 3 of my 4 flights, the attendant asked me if they could find a place to hang it for me. So, they're usually very nice about it. Plus I flew economy - so don't feel like you need to fold it up and store it. 👍

That's cool! Im really close to philly so I won't be flying for this one, but I definitely will keep that in mind about AA. 👍

I just got a couple of those new "no-iron" cotton dress shirts, and so far they're terrific. I have had my shirts pressed for years, and spent a bundle doing it. I don't like the hand of blended fabrics. But whatever this new process is for 100% cotton seems to work great.
