Help with final decision!

I was accepted to the Boston Univ. SMP and the Marshall Univ. SMP. GPA 2.89, MCAT 33. I anticipate getting accepted to Tufts and Drexel as well.

Boston - pros - brand name of "Boston Univ", established program
cons - far from home (WV), will be 50,000 in debt, large class (170)

Marshall - pros - close to home, cheaper (~20000 in debt), I want to goto Marshall Med school so I'll have an 'in', people I've talked with are *very* nice and supportive, smaller classes (15)
cons - less well known, previous students have only matriculated to Marshall U (MD) or WVCOM (DO).

Any suggestions!!!!! Boston U is a great, well known program, but I'm tempted to go with the cheaper option since it will all pile on as debt... Thanks!

Seems like you answered your own question... Less debt, very supportive, and they primarily go to Marshall Med, which is where you want to go!! Based one everything you've said, I'd say go with Marshall...

I agree with the previous poster. Plus, all you need is one acceptance to med school right? So if you can get an in at Marshall, then go for it!
