Research: None at all (scared about this)
Volunteering (clinical): 300 hours at a Long Beach hospital on four different floors. 50 hours on medical missions to Mexico. Will begin hospice volunteering within the next few weeks
Physician shadowing: About 15 hours shadowing a pediatrician on the trips to Mexico
Non-clinical volunteering: I'm not sure how this will look, but I was also heavily involved in a Cultural Fraternity (held multiple board positions) that focused heavily on bringing awareness to Filipino culture/struggles and general philanthropy. I am also working to bring a program to a local library that aims to help 1st and 2nd graders that are behind in their readings by leading a reading club discussion once a week.
Extracurricular activities: Lifting for own fitness, previously mentioned Fraternity
Employment history: I will start working as a PT dermatology medical assistant in a week or two; several summer jobs including 4 summers as a swim instructor for young children (3 summer of teaching 3-15 year olds, 1 summer of teaching 5-15 year olds); a couple months as a Boys and Girls Club floater (lead an after school program for at-risk children as needed by the company as needed).
