hey everyone,

so i started msII and i feel like classes are going well so far...however, i am wondering whether the strategy that i'm using to study is overkill or not? Here's what I've been doing:

for pathology:
Reading intermediate robbins and taking notes (in the form of Q and A)
supplementing in with big robbins pictures and purple boxes
reviewing the sections in the Review for Pathology Q book
reading BRS pathology

for pathophys:

focusing on material in pathophys for boards and wards that correlates with cecil "essentials of medicine"
reading cecil "essentials of medicine" and taking notes on diseases in the form of Q and A
reviewing lecture notes

All of this takes quite a bit of time as you can imagine...am i doing too much and is there a more efficient way of studying for these classes or should i just keep this up...mind you i want to rock my boards (an obvious statement) and I am willing to do whatever it takes in terms work...i just want to work smart and hard and not just hard...anyways...advice from anyone who has rocked these classes and the boards is truly appreciated! Thanks.

just read and memorize. no way around it. your method should pay off well in class and on the boards, assuming you understand what you read.
