Hi all,
I decided on rads very late and may not have a LOR from a radiologist but I am in need of help deciding how many radiology programs and which ones to apply to.
Stats: Step 1 >260, almost all honors, AOA, top 25 med school, 5-10 non-radiology publications. I know my stats are competitive for rads but without a radiology letter of recommendation I am not sure how this affects my competitiveness and how many/what types of programs I should be applying to.
So far I was thinking:
Michigan
Duke
UNC
Penn
UPMC
Vanderbilt
MGH
Brigham
Beth Israel
Hopkins
Northwestern
Iowa
Uchicago
UCSF
UCSD
Any insight into how many transitions/preliminary years would also be helpful. Thanks in advance.
