You are competitive for all DO schools. Add KCUMB. Per Goro’s bad boy list, avoid Nova, LUCOM, WM Carey and Touro-NY.

You are competitive for your state MDs and all DOs. Best of luck

Anywhere
Gold app for DO esp being URM

Only issue is lack of EC's as far leadership posiitons, clubs, EC's outside of medicine...

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback! Currently working on a non-clinical volunteering gig at an animal shelter so hopefully that helps. Any school recommendations for the list?

All VCOM's are good - with maybe exception of newest one (Auburn), which plays second fiddle to ACOM rotation wise
I would add: ACOM, VCOM-SC, MUCOM, LECOM-E, UNECOM, CCOM, Touro-NY and Touro-NV
Would probably take out ARCOM - such a new school and your stats are much too good for it IMO

Thank you very much!

Any thoughts on the other VCOM campuses?
I am bias as I will be starting with VCOM-Carolinas in 3 weeks - but I have only good things to say about VCOM's in general.
VCOM-VA and VCOM-SC specifically - they have great teachers, very organized, high test scores, and great match lists as well
I am very excited to start!

I don't mind a little bias! 🙂

Hey congrats! Sounds like a great school from what I've read. Good luck on your med school journey!
