I got a email from Issa saying that I am complete and Ms Copeland will be sending me an email invitation for an interview. Has anyone got this before from them? and how long did it take from the email sent by Issa till the email invitation?

Hi fronder,

I got a similar email 3 days ago. However, Mr Figueroa also called me to inform me that my LORs were not in my folder. I am re-sending them (via interfolio) and trying to get in touch with someone there as we speak. Good luck!

Just wondering...how long after you guys submitted secondaries did you hear about an interview?

um, truthfully, mine was fast. I think a week or two. I was the second batch of people interviewing.

submitted the secondary round end of january and got an interview invite email maybbe 2 weeks after... i was 3rd batch

Quick question for anyone that may have interviewed at TOURCOM. Did they give any indication of how many applications they are expecting. Also did they mention how full their class is. I know they will be interviewing till late but I am just hoping that there are still a descent number of spots left.

I really want to go to TOURCOM. I would like to be a part of the schools objective to provide better healthcare in an urban underserved area.

It was posted on another thread but according to the thread they have received around 800 applications and accepted 60 students but only 29 or so have sent in a deposit.

Hey, I'm interviewing on Wednesday. For anyone who has interviewed there...this is my first med school interview...what did you bring to the interview besides yourself? Do I need an extra copy of my personal statement? A CV? I have just read some different suggestions online to take this type of thing.

I would just bring like some kind of black portfolio thing (to look professional LOL). You dont need anything like a CV or a statement. Just bring something to take notes on and with and really that is it. Any more questions fire away (I have been on what feels like a billion interviews)

They are going to give you a Tourocom folder with the agenda, press releases abt the school, school brochure, etc, etc. So you really don t need to bring anything but yourself, and maybe a couple of pens because they didn't include a pen(I dont remember a pen anyways!!!??!!) Oh and maybe bring a good luck charm or something to make you relax.......
