I'm leaving today for an interview (NYCOM) and have decided to wear a gray suit with a berry colored cashmere sweater underneath. (Mom approved!) I was reading some last minute advice on the internet and it said to stay away from colors, not to stand out, etc. Should I go find a black top? Or should I be ok with a little color?

Stay with color red is good it is a powerful color and exudes confidence.

I am assuming you are a girl. In my humble opinion, I think that you will be ok wearing the berry colored sweater, especially if you are wearing a grey suit. It will make you stand out a little more. I have been on several interviews where girls were dressed in suits, but were waring shirts with color on in them. SO i think that you are A-OK!

BTW, good luck on your interview. Just be yourself, relax, and enjoy the experience.
