I am taking my first chemistry class in over 10 years right now, and I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew! I am working on the first assignment for the lab, which we "should be able to do just by reading the lab" and I can't. I don't know if I am over complicating things or what. There are tons of conversions in all the problems. I can't keep any of it straight. The language is greek to me. I have read the chapter a million times to try to understand what seems like should be simple.
We had to take a placement test the first night to weed out those who needed to go back and take the intro chemistry class and I passed the cutoff-barely. But most of the class barely passed it. So I don't know if everyone feels this way or I am particularly dim in chemistry. If this first assignment is indicitave of what we have to know already then I am sunk!
