I was just accepted into my first choice school, but I have a problem. I received a letter from the school saying that I must complete my degree objectives as stated in AADSAS in order to enroll. Well, right now I am doing a masters that normally takes two years, but I was trying to do it in one, and that is what I stated in my app. However, the school is trying to discourage people from completing it in one year, so one of the classes I need to graduate is not offered this semester, therefore, I was wondering has anyone heard of acceptances being taken away because of a situation similar to mine, and what should I do????

I would contact the admissions office at the school where you were accepted and ask them about your problem. I would think that the verbage about completing degree requirements is standard to ensure students get their undergraduate degree and may not apply to you. All you can do is explain and ask for guidance.

I contacted the admissions office. They were talking about my masters. Apparently they don't like to pull people out of programs that they have started and not finished. I think I might be able to work it out with both schools, but this really sucks, I dont want to have to defer my acceptance until next year. I thought it was pretty common for people to drop out of their masters when they are accepted.
