I'm going to be attending an open house for my top choice d-school. I'm really anxious and excited. I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me what things I should bring and things I can do to help me stand out to the faculty.

Wear a cute pinwheel hat with helicopter blades on it, or you could just dress appropriately, ask intelligent questions and seem interested in the school. Although it is a nice opportunity to meet the faculty, see the facilities and gather pertinent information about the school and what they are looking for in a student, the school won't be keeping files for the most desirable future applicants. However, if you tell us what school it is then I am sure someone on here will be able to give some more specific advice or possibly even a question or two to ask that would make you look like you really did your homework.

An open house isn't going to be the best way to meet people. However it will be a great way to get the names and email addresses of professors and administrators that you can later make contact with.
