I have a question, and would REALLY appreciate if someone that knows about these things could give me guidance. So, I recently took the DAT, and I am debating whether I should take it again. Read: are my scores competitive enough? I can tolerate the truth.
I got:
Biology: 18
Gen. Chem.: 21
O. Chem: 21
Reading Comp: 18
Perceptual: 23
Quantitative Reasoning: 15
Overall: 19

Should I be concerned enough about that QR section to re-take it?

Although it depends on your GPA, your scores are competitive. If you have a ~3.4+ you should be in good shape.

some schools you are applying to may have a minimum section-score for each individual part. I think most schools will be fine with the 15 QR, but it wouldnt hurt to check.

I know a bunch of people that got accepted with similar scores. You should be just fine unless your GPA is absolutely abismal. Just make sure that you app is mailed out before end of aug.
