Hi Everyone,

I totally blew my DAT yesterday(07/13/09). I will list my scores below and would appreciate any advise. If I re-take the DAT in 90 days, won't that be too late to be accepted for 2010. I do have my application in to the AADSAS and they mailed it out to the (13) schools I applied to. My alternate plan was to re-take it next year at this time, I will have graduated (did it in 3 years), no more summer school, can devote my studying to the DAT totally, but really wanted to get in 2010(not to mention all the money I would have to spend again). Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated.

DAT Scores:

PA - 16
QR - 17
RC - 22
Bio - 16
GC - 17
OC - 15
TS - 16
AA - 17

GPA🙁Per AADSAS)

BCP - 3.70
Science - 3.64
Non-Science - 3.77
Total - 3.67

Have pretty good extracurriculars, shadowed etc...!!

Wow, those are not consistent with your gpa at all! I would say its not too late to be accepted into 2010 if you re-take. Your chances are slim but there is still a chance. Your gpa is outstanding. I would re-take it in the fall and at least make it somewhat worth your money for applying this cycle. Its not cheap! Thats my opinion. I dont think its time to give up and try next year, keep going and maybe when you submit your new scores, you might get some later consideration. Good Luck!
