Do you think it is wise to apply to UCLA ? I was just thinking about it today when I was looking at the deadline which is tonight. I am out of state. For my stats, I have 3.9 cGpa 3.94 sci gpa and dat is

Your DAT and GPA are solid. If you can see yourself there, go for it.

UCLA is especially picky about the RC and PAT score as stated on their website. On top of that, they are not friendly generally of out of state students. for your reference I am a cal resident and my stats are 24/25/20 with RC 18, 4.0 BCP and 3.9 sci GPA, and I haven't heard from them. Not to discourage you though, you can still try, but I am losing hope.

hospital and dental shadowing. LOTS of research (stem cell not dental). first author on a stem cell review chapter. coauthor on another paper. NSF fellowship award. Don't know what my LORs look like cause obviously I don't get to see them, but they are all from professors at USC. I seriously think it's the RC and PAT that's screwing me up.
