Does anyone know if "Hyperlearning MCAT Biological Sciences Review" is a good book to review for the biology portion of the DAT?

Thanks.

i havnt taken the test so i don't know how helpful it is going to truly be, but i like it so far. there is an error about boiling points and branched molecules in the orgo section though. the bio section is really in depth for human bio but goes about it in an approachable way, ie :
"spermatogonia is "gonia" be a sperm" they have tons of those little gems

Yeah I used it for most of the BIO section and did ok in Bio (22). I used Cliffs AP Bio for the Ecology & Plant info and MCAT Hyperlearning from Princeton review for the rest. It expalined things so much quicker, easier, and more in depth than other study materails I looked at. Especially comapred to Kaplan, which I personally thought was a joke for Bio

It's really good, and I personally LOVED it. But it's not enough. DAT covers much more than what's in hyperlearning. You'll need to know ecology, evolution, plants, animal biology etc topics. I'd suggest you use cliffs or barron's AP biology in addition to hyperlearning (I used barron's). I scored 27 in bio and I thought applying knowledge was the key to do better on this part of the test than just memorizing details.
