So insurance company's have stopped reimbursing Hem/Onc's for chemotherapy, they are now simple reimbursed for the cost of the medicine, but are not given any profit, which previously they were. I read a couple articles saying the chemotherapy profits were as much as 1/3 of Hem/Onc's salary and the prime reason why they were the 3rd most lucrative medical specialty.

Just curious as to cause and effect, has Hem/Onc competitiveness gone down suddenly due to this, or can any attest to this?
